Business Development Manager - IP Security

National IT distributor looking for energetic team player to join fast paced industry in Channel sales team as BDM-Security, based in Waterloo H/O

Lan 1, Australia's leading national IT distributor of IP Storage, IP Networking and IP Security products is looking for energetic team player to join our Sydney office in the role of Business Development Manager, focusing on the IP Security portfolio.

As the successful applicant, you will support the sales growth of Lan 1 product lines selling through our extensive reseller network. The ability to acquire and on-board new resellers is critical to the success in this role. The successful applicant must be able to perform conflict resolution, meet company and customer expectations, cross-sell and maintain monthly sales budget. You will be developing a list of established accounts, new accounts development from lead generation and your existing network with the Lan 1’s Product Team.

The role requires knowledge of IT Industry and working in Distribution with minimum 8 years sales experience. Applicants need to be committed to at least a 2 year role in this position with opportunity to grow within the organisation.

Lan 1 is a national value added IT distributor. Located in Waterloo, we are looking for a capable & enthusiastic team player for the Office Administrator/Marketing Coordinator role.

The role-

• Office administration and general office tasks

• Marketing coordination – managing the electronic pricelist, seminars,

   Trade events and website updates

• Organisation of management and Directors

You-

• Immaculate presentation with a professional business & telephone manner

• Experience in office administration desirable – SAP B1

• Admin/Marketing qualifications desirable

• Avid user of social media including Twitter, Facebook & Blogs

• Excellent written & verbal skills

• High attention to detail

• Reliable, Predictable and Ability to time manage and work under pressure

• Knowledge of IT distribution is beneficial but not essential

Channel Account Manager, Melbourne

Lan 1, Australia's leading national IT distributor of IP Storage, IP Networking and IP Security products is looking for energetic team player to join our Offices in Waterloo (Sydney) and Port Melbourne (Melbourne) Office in the role of Channel Account Manager.

As the successful applicant, you will support the sales growth of Lan 1 product lines through the successful management of the sales process. The successful applicant must be able to perform conflict resolution, meet company and customer expectations, cross-sell and maintain monthly sales budget. You will be managing a list of established accounts and also assist in new account development with the Business Development Manager. Work closely with Lan 1 Product Team in all sales related activities requiring marketing support. Channel account management and planning in existing accounts and the ability to onboard new accounts are an important skill set in this role.

Knowledge of IT Industry in distribution or wholesale is preferable with minimum 2 years sales experience. Graduates in business discipline are encouraged to apply. Committment to at least a 2 year role in this position with opportunity to grow.
