FortiClient Earns Eighth Virus Bulletin 100% Award
Fortinet has announced that its FortiClient™ end-point security software has earned its eighth Virus Bulletin 100% (VB100) award for its robust antivirus capabilities. In this test, for antivirus products running on Microsoft Windows Server 2003, FortiClient earned 100 percent marks in every possible award category. The product was also specifically recognized for its reliability and performance.
Well-known in the industry, the VB100 awards recognize products that have been tested by independent experts and proven to accurately detect 100 percent of viruses known to be "in the wild," constituting current, real-world viruses.
Virus Bulletin staff tested FortiClient 3.0 along with 26 other antivirus products for detection rates, lack of false positives and speed of scanning. This latest VB100 award adds to Fortinet's portfolio of technology certifications and accolades -- including eight VB100 awards, NSS Labs UTM certification and six ICSA Labs certifications (firewall, antivirus, IPSec, SSL VPN, Network IPS and antispyware).

One camera instead of four The new D12 panorama (2.6 megapixel) camera offers 180° panorama field of view from one camera. This means just one single high-resolution MOBOTIX camera can monitor the same area that it would take up to 4 analogue cameras to capture.
The MOBOTIX D12 panorama cameras are equipped with two flexible, independently adjustable camera modules, which can be individually positioned in any direction. The individual models are available with different lenses. If a Super wide-angle lens is used in both camera modules, the cameras are able to reach a viewing angle of 180°.
With megapixel resolution, integrated microphone and speaker, ISDN connection, motion detection, alarm management with pre- and post-alarms, alarm alert via telephone call, digital zoom, event-controlled recording, switching functions (1x In, 1x Out) and an RS232 interface, the D12D-DualDome cameras also include all the trusted MOBOTIX functions for convenient, professional camera use.
