If you wish to transact business with Lan 1, your contact details are required to ensure your reseller status and to provide you with product and stocking information that is not made available to the general public. Once you have registered with Lan 1 you can see and make changes to your registration and contact data by selecting "Update your profile" from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Any registration details that you provide are used solely in our online environment for the purpose of e-commerce.
Lan 1 occasionally hires other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as tele-marketing & mailing, answering customer questions about products and services, and sending information about our products, special offers, and other new services. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

Cookies We, as a company, do not track your usage of our site with cookies. When you first register with Lan 1, we create a cookie on your system which contains your Lan 1 username and Lan 1 login password. This is used solely to speed up your login process when you login to our secure area.
Our shopping application uses Microsoft Active Server pages. This ASP technology uses dynamic cookies to "remember" what to show you on the screen as you move through pages. When you logout of the secure area or close down your browsers these cookies become useless as they are tied to your logged in session. They only contain random numbers which are meaningless to anyone including your next logged in session.
Credit Card and Personal Information www.thawte.com We offer the option of a secure site for credit card and other personal data entry. You can tell when you are entering the secure site as the URL protocol of the site will change to "https" and a key or padlock will appear in your web browser. Double clicking this padlock or key (depending upon your browser) will display Lan 1's Verisign secured certificate from Thawte.
Your credit card transactions are processed via our in-house EFT machine, so no credit card or personal details are passed via the Internet to any other party.
SSL protects all communications with Lan 1's web server, so we can take credit card orders, protect sensitive personal information, and ensure that foreign hackers do not detect your passwords or any sensitive information. SSL security makes eavesdropping on your web traffic almost impossible by encrypting any data sent back and forth between our server and your browser. You can select the secure shopping page once you are logged in as a reseller.
