Monday 9th September 2013, Sydney: Lan 1, a Hills business (ASX: HIL), and value-added distributor of IP Networking, IP Storage, IP Security and IP CCTV & Access Control products and associated services, is the proud winner of the prestigious Ruckus Wireless ANZ Distributor of the Year award for 2012/13.
The award was presented to Lan 1 at the Ruckus Wireless BiG DOGs APAC Partner Conference held in Bangkok last month, and recognises Lan 1’s ongoing commitment to and success with Ruckus Wireless in Oceania.
Ruckus Wireless offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor "Smart Wi-Fi" products to mobile carriers, broadband service providers, and corporate enterprises around the world. The company annually hosts a BiG DOGs Partner Conference in APAC - a private, invitation-only two-day Wi-Fi conference for distributors and resellers of Ruckus Wireless solutions. At BiG DOGs, attendees learn about the latest Ruckus technologies and products, discuss best practices with Ruckus engineering, marketing, sales and technical staff, and learn from and engage in conversations with key Ruckus executives.
The Ruckus Wireless ANZ Distributor of the Year award is determined by evaluating each distributor’s overall sales and marketing performance in the region, along with their level of technical excellence and Ruckus channel partner enablement, as judged by key Ruckus Wireless executives, including Carl Jefferys, ANZ country manager for Ruckus Wireless.
On receiving the award, Daniel Lee, Managing Director of Lan 1, said “This is a proud moment for Lan 1 and I attribute this award to the hard work of all Lan 1 employees and Channel Partners.
