Enterprises will benefit from the relationship between Lan 1 and Alcatel-Lucent’s to expand the reach of networking and communications solutions in Australia
Friday 9th May 2012: Lan 1 and Alcatel-Lucent have come together to deliver a range of communications solutions that will help businesses in Australia change the conversation for their employees and customers.
The agreement gives Lan 1 the opportunity to focus on selling Alcatel-Lucent’s OmniSwitch LAN switching portfolio and also Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office Communication Solutions, an ideal all in one communications server for any size business.
By aligning with Lan 1, Alcatel-Lucent now has a focused value-added distributor to help build Alcatel-Lucent’s market share in Enterprise switching throughout Oceania.
“We really like the scalability, affordability and superior performance the OmniSwitch portfolio provides”, said Rob Harkness – Lan 1’s Strategic Business Manager. “We now have a comprehensive range of Enterprise switches - edge to core - we can offer to our partners, that come with superior price performance characteristics over the market leadergiving them a true advantage when selling,” said Harkness.
Like other collaborative relationships with vendor partners, Lan 1 will provide advanced level sales and technical training to those integrators committed to the Alcatel-Lucent portfolio.
For those partners requiring occasional access to Alcatel-Lucent switch products where certification isn’t justified (e.g. POE switches for IP CCTV projects), Lan 1 will provide the certified support to the partner as a value-added professional service.
